itunes unknown error occurred (-200)

I am currently having problems opening itunes. I am running Safari O SX 10.3 When I click on itunes to open it displays the message "unknown error has occurred (-200). Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you and please direct oany comments to helwigsj@email.uc.edu

Try opening a new user account and checking if iTunes works from there.

there really should be an error list somewhere seeing as the only list i have found is for OS 9 or earlier

also of note is the error meaning the second poster gives is for OS 9 or earlier, not sure if it is the same on OS X
