I prefer seeing my music list sorted by artist's last name. I have gone through and changed all of the Sort Artist fields to lastname, firstname.

The new iTunes update has broken this view. When using the Artists column view, Al Green and Adam Sandler are now listed in the goddamn A's.

When you "Get Info" on one of those tracks, what shows in the Sorting tab?

Nothing has changed. The Sorting info is still there, and correct.
Just to clarify, this appears to only be a problem when using the Artist column view. When I sort by artist in the All Artist view, all is sorted correctly.

Maybe I'm not understanding which view your using, but I have mine set up the same way (Sort artist as Last, First) and they are still sorted correctly no matter which view and column I view

Go to the Column Browser and turn on Artist.
    View>Column Browswer>Artist

Ah, found it. I had the option Use Album Artist selected.

No idea why it defaulted to that after installing the update.
