Ok to clear up confusion:

The new feature to using iTunes on laptops is now, in Starbucks, you can connect to the iTunes Store for FREE. As opposed to paying a fee to connect to the internet, then connect to the iTunes Store. This will be released along with the free Starbucks Wi-Fi Store for iPod Touch and iPhone.

Yep, so you just continue to connect to the store via iTunes like you would if you were anywhere else online, except you'll get a Starbucks playlist, right? And as for purchasing songs, don't see any reason why anything should change from the behavior when you're anywhere else.

Right, it's free to connect and you will get the Starbucks feature in certain cities. Isn't the Starbucks feature only coming to like Seattle and New York with more cities later?
