Hey, sorry if that has already been discussed, I Mroogled it and didn't find an answer.

Anyway.

Can anyone running Snow Leopard tell me whether or not the iTunes widget has finally been fixed? In Leopard (and maybe even before, I dunno) it's broken in the following ways:

  • Shuffle button doesn't respond
  • Dropdown list of playlists on the flip side is empty
  • No flip animation, only a pause (not a big deal, I know, but still)

Implications

I wonder if this means Apple will eventually abandon the Dashboard? This issue has been noted for almost 2 years. 😕

I doubt it, and hope not. I still use it every day for the weather and iCal events (if you open up the calendar widget, it shows two panes, day and month. But if you click it, it opens up a third, showing upcoming iCal events for that day).

That is so cool! I never knew this about the iCal events but it sure works. Thanks for the tip! 🙂
