Hi all, a new problem with my MacBook I think. The iTunes widget on my dashboard isn't working correctly, when I click on the i button to turn around the widget to select a playlist, the dashboard freezes temporarily and when it turns around there are no playlists to select. I know I have loads of playlists and I am using the original iTunes widget that came installed on the machine. Is it no longer compatible with iTunes since its been updated? Oh and to clarify iTunes IS open.

I am having the same problem.. in my case i had transferred my library to a new mac installation.. if someone can, pls help..

To bring back an old topic.. I'm having the EXACT same problem as the OP on my new iMac 21.5"

iTunes Widget

I can't put the name of my playlist in that area of the widget, either.
I'm using a Mac OS X (10.6) and I'm trying to play my music for a few hours. It shuts off after 15 minutes and I get the Mac sign-in screen.
I've tried iTunes' and Mac's system preferences, but nothing happens.
It used to work but for the past few days I've been having this problem.

I'm not very familiar with the workings of computers so I need help!!
Thanks...
