Hi, Has something changed to Itunes WIFI sync with the 5.01 update or the iTunes 10.5.1 update? I just opened iTunes with my phone on the table NOT connected to a charging cable and it showed in the devices column in iTunes, out of curiosity I tried to sync some music and it worked ok.

Am I not understanding WIFI sync properly because everywhere I look it tells me that the phone must be connected to a power source but I have just managed to sync music twice now through WIFI without being connected to a power source.

I also tried deleting music and adding an app and this worked ok too.

WiFi sync works fine if not on a charger, but you need to manually start it going

If it's plugged into a charger it does it automatically

Thanks, I obviously read it wrong, I thought it always had to be plugged in, I don't let it sync automatically so I wouldn't notice the difference.
