Itunes with early 2011 MBP

My music tends to "stutter" when I am playing it on my new MBP. I have the upper 15" model, including mondays OS update and Itunes 10.2.1

I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue?
 
Sometimes it can happen when working on large files in other apps. Does it happen when iTunes is the only app you're running?
