iTunes won't accept Remote app password

    I set up iTunes remote without any problem on my iPod touch a long time ago. However, today when I try to set it up on my iPad, iTunes is not accepting the passcode provided by the iPad. I enter the passcode ***EXACTLY*** as issued by the iPad, and iTunes comes back saying, "The passcode you entered was incorrect. Please try again". This is with iTunes v10.4 (80) running under OS X Lion with an iPad running the factory supplied iOS v4.3.3. Anything else that would cause this to fail? Thanks.

    restart router will fix it guaranteed
