Hi,

here is my problem.

I have an ipad air bought on launch day. Never sync to my computer before.

Now I want to sync my ipad to my itunes on my Mac.

I have iTunes 11.1.4 up to date on my up to date mac running Maverick.

My Ipad air is also up to date ( iOS 7.0.4)

So when I plug my iPad, nothing happens, but 2 minutes later, iTunes gives me an error message that goes like this (iTunes is in French, so it is a translation) :

« itunes could not connect to the ipad because the session of the unit has expired »

I search google with no luck on French and in English.

Anybody can help me on how to get iTunes to load my iPad so I can sync my movies ?

Thanks

In case someone is wondering...

I only have the problem with my iPad Air.

We have 2 iPhones (a 5 an a 4) and 2 iPod Touch 5 that sync with no problem.

I tried to re-install iTunes with no luck. I did shut down the computer after.

I have admin rights on the computer.

I tried to create a new admin account with no more luck.

I tried my gf account (a regular account) with you guessed it, no luck.

I keep getting the same message.

I just tried to plug it on my Mac at work and I get the same message.

--> Just try shutting down (power off) the iPad and a reboot (didn't thought of that one)... it seems to work on my Work Computer!!! Crossing my finger that it will work at home !

I have a Genius Bar appointment later...
