itunes won't recognize authorization

    Anybody else had this issue?

    Just did a clean install of OSx and transfered my music over. Half my songs can't play because itunes won't authorize my account. It asks me for my password and when I type it in i get "Fieldname: null.java.lang.execption"
    I retried numerous times and it then asked me to reset my password so I did that and it still not working.

    Actually I can't log in, authorize or deauthroize my own account at all becuase of that same error. I have no clue whats going on and I can't find anything on apples support site for it either.

    Try one or all of the following:

    -Reinstall iTunes

    -Completely Delete iTunes and then reinstall

    -Reinstall Java and/or update Java to the latest version

    Thats a weird error. I would think that just reinstalling iTunes, or completely removing iTunes and then reinstalling will fix the issue.
