iTunes refuses to stay closed on my Windows XP computer. I'll close iTunes, it comes up with a dialog box telling me it's "Savings iTunes Library", that'll go away in a few seconds. About 30 seconds later iTunes reopens by itself. It repeats the close and reopen cycle anywhere from 3 to 20 times before it manages to stay closed. Any idea what may be causing this? I don't know if this is the right place to be asking this, but I don't know where else to put it. Thanks for any tips or advice.

Exactly what version of iTunes are you running? There seem to be some problems with version 7. (Help==>About iTunes to find this)

EDIT: If not version 7.0.2 get the latest version from Apple's website.

It's the latest version available (7.0.2).

iTunes won't stay closed on Windows XP machine

I have a windows XP computer and am running the newest version of iTunes (10.5) and iTunes will not stay closed. I turn it off and within a few minutes it restarts itself.1

I've seen that this is a problem with previous versions but I haven't seen a solution for XP computers. Can anyone help?
