Updated versions of itunes, iOS and OSX on a new iPhone 6s Plus. I open itunes and try to drag and drop a song onto the iphone and it does nothing. The cursor does not change when I get over the iphone and releasing the file results in ... nothing. I have itunes set to manually control files. I've searched around a good bit online and do not see a solution. What am I doing wrong?

Does drag and drop work like that? I thought you had to tick which tracks/albums/playlists that you wanted to manually sync.
