Here is my scenario. I use itunes to upload music to my ipod. I have quite a bit of music on my computer. Unfortunately too much to fit on my ipod. In order for me to fit the music I want on my ipod I need to uncheck certain albums. The problem I am having is when I want to listen to music through my computer, the songs that are unchecked in itunes won't play unless I physically click on a particular song. is there an option i can change so the unchecked songs will play through my computer?

Don't uncheck songs. Just make playlists with the music you want on your iPod and tell the iPod to just sync those playlists...
