IUP Reservation Stock Updating?

Yep. I've been seeing it for the last 2 hours or so. I've been trying to check it so if there happens to be more available I can snag one.
Was not expecting this this morning:

It was a lot of back and forth with Apple to reserve in store (the only way that you could upgrade through IUP).
So, interesting experience today.
I've gotten two emails from apple confirming that I have an iPhone "Reserved." One for tomorrow (September 19th) and one for October 10th.
The thing is, neither are the correct carrier (and one is the wrong model entirely). So this morning I went to my local store at opening and was told that they didn't get in any pluses. Bummer. But then I showed them the email and shared that it wasn't what I had discussed with the rep.
They called the manager to the front who greeted me, listened to my situation, disappeared to the back and came out with a Black 7 plus (128gb). She said they hold on to a few phones for mix ups like the one I experienced.
