or maybe that should be "I've lost a screw!" I seem to have managed to lose one of my ibooks screen screws (bottom right). Now.. all seems well at the moment, no discernable movement/loosening but i'm guessing that it's not something that can just be left on its own. is it possible to get replacement screws? (i'm in the Uk) cheers.
Just visit your nearest Apple Service Provider (or Apple Store, whichever is closest). They should be able to give (or if they're cheap sell) you a screw.
Problem is to find the right screw, Apple (and many other computer manufacturers) use very specialized screws, you could almost say proprietary, and to get them in a regular hardware store could sadly be difficult. I've never had problems getting help at my local Apple Service Providers. Just last week I got a replacement F9 key for my iBook keyboard, free of charge.
Get if from Apple so you are sure you have the right screw. Wrong size and you could damage threads....too long and you could damage something else.....
