I've got blue tits...

I once dated a girl with red.....

I have a bird who nested in the closet outside my condo that we use for the recycling bins. I found out when I went to dump a bunch of newspapers and it flew into my face. Now I knock on the door, it squeezes out the top and then I do my recycling. WHen the chick fly the coop, I'll adjust the doors so it won't happen again.

It's the one into the kitchen that I will plug with something so that as the chicks start to move around, they don't explore the wrong exit from the nest and ending up falling to their doom behind my kitchen cabinets where I couldn't rescue them. Thinking about something like cork or even a piece of dark plastic just so they don't try using it as an exit! Will plaster it once they've left!

I was getting that too. I was able to right-click and copy the actual URL and get to the picture that way. It's some type of duck or similar bird with blue feet.

The one without the Gannet?

The google searches were interesting. Tit singular gave 4 rude pics on the first page (all placed highly). Plural gave 1 placed mid page.

I too had high hopes for the thread wondering if it was the female version of blue balls (there is a lovely town called Blue Ball btw. Its right next to Intercourse and Bird in Hand) Either that or some interesting body painting.

It's a "Blue Boobie" I tell ya! They ain't "ducks". They're boids, the kind that get the Darwinian freakos all worked up when they visit Galapagos Island. :)

I've got blue tits again!

I was coming home from work this evening and spotted something darting into the brickwork. My blue tits are back :D

Sadly, they're still in the wall since although my aunt gave me a birdbox for Christmas, it's still in Scotland and my tits (and I) are in London.

Also realised that I never posted a picture of my tits, so here's one from last year and since I now have a better camera, I'll get a better one this year!

It does seem like a nice place for a nest, though. :) Which I guess means continuing noise for you.
 
Hopefully they won't be too much of a bother this year.
There's a couple at my house that occasionally keep me up.
I wonder if the birdhouse will work given that they've become so accustomed to their current residence.
 
About Dildo, Newfoundland...

It is thought that the community may have got its name from Spain or Portugal, or an algonquin tree, or the shape of the headland that forms the harbour.
