I've got to buy a mpb tomorrow! Should I get the 2.66Ghz or the 2.8Ghz for final cut?

Out of curiosity, why is it bad to have your media on the same drive as your processor?

It'll make your hard drive do extra work because it's using up Final Cut, OS X, other programs, etc... and reading+writing media is going to slow it down a lot, especially when you're rendering
