Is there any validity to this pairing?

Seems like if you've got a watch on, you're going to have it accessible while watching TV. It's something that's already with you; you can sit down and not have to look for the remote. Also, if they are using iPads and iPhones as game controllers, the iWatch will not need to control any gaming.

Thoughts?

Note: This doesn't mean the iWatch would be necessary to control the Apple TV. Maybe just a bonus functionality.

Whatever new device Apple might release in the future, it stands to reason that it will interface with their existing product line, similar to the way that iPads and iPhones can both be used as a remote control for the ATV or for iTunes on a Mac.

Is this iWatch more then rumors?

I'm just picturing a watch that is expensive, made like jewelry (fragile), Chinese mass produced. Nothing about that works for me.

Would people actually buy into that?

Oh btw, I'd assume it would fit into Apples Eco system like all their products. Only difference is it would be gaudy.
