I'm using iWeb 06 and want to include flash videos on my site but don't know where to start looking really.

I know I need a flash player which I have, but need the encoder, preferably free if that's possible for mac 10.4

First, for iWeb06 there are 3 methods I know of to add Flash for web users:

Text Edit - http://www.verticalmoon.com/tutorials/general/iweb/iweb.htm
Web Enhancer - http://web.mac.com/cbrantly/iWeb/Software/iWeb Enhancer.html
Vertical Moon - http://www.verticalmoon.com/tutorials/general/iweb/iweb.htm

"Text Edit" requires knowledge on how to embed Flash via HTML/Javascript.

For the encoder might find this page helpful to compare video encoders, which is what I presume you're looking for...

You need to upgrade your Mac OS (if possible) to benefit from the latest Adobe Flash versions, security fixes, and software titles.
