I don't know if this is at all possible but hey, I'm sure someone here will know if it is or not!

I've designed and uploaded a website using iWeb for my friend's small restaurant. Now, it's a chore having to update his 'Specials' menu (and all of the other tweaks he makes seemingly daily!) and I was wondering this: if he were to send me a document via email of his latest menu in PDF format, could I get Automator to somehow copy the text, paste it into the correct iWeb page (whilst removing all of the old text), and then upload the new menu (etc.!) page/s?

I've never used Automator so I'm completely new to it (even though I've been using Macs since 1996) and, if such a thing is possible, how what a complete novice go about doing so?

Any help would be truly welcome!

Your proposed method will not work. A better solution would be to migrate the site off iWeb and/or redesign it entirely with Wordpress so he/she can update it themselves with minimal hassle.
