I have put lots of time and effort in my iweb project. Just got a new computer and installed iweb. Following advice in this forums, I copied the Domain.sites2 dir into my new ~/Library/Application\ Support/iWeb, but iweb still doesn't recognize my project!! It is as if nothing was there!

How can apple release iWeb without an backup/restore functionality?????

    this is incredible!!!! @#$%#!!!!

Any hints? how do I avoid doing it all from scratch?

    thx

    update in iweb import mess

I tied copying the files (sudo cp -R *) of the old Domain.sites2 into the one that iweb creates by default. Now when I start iWeb it report that it "The document Domain could not be opened", and then, when I ok, I get another error msg saying that it cannot open file ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2.

I even dod sudo chown -R <myid> Domain.sites2, but that didn't fix it. console messages follow. Please help!!!!
