    Hi All,

I am new to iWeb and I have built a site for my father in law (www.mikewilkie.co.uk). It looks fine in Safari, Chrome and IE. But a friend of mine has just sent me a screen grab from Firefox. I have attached it and there seems to be a character encoding issue.

Can anyone help with a fix for this problem?

Also is there a way of renaming the page name without effecting what is visible in the navigation bar?

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

Have you tried it in Firefox yourself? Maybe it's an issue on his side. I don't see the issue while using Firefox.

It looks like he doesnt have the font you have used. Either use a generic web font i.e. helvetica, verdana, georgia, arial etc or make the text an image by giving it a drop shadow but then turning the opacity right down to zero (so you dont actually see a drop shadow). This will force iWeb to turn it into an image and will load as such. That way the text will look just how you want it too.

Thank you both. I will try and sort the issue tonight when I get back to my Mac.

    Cheers for the advice.
