I was using IWeb for my website on my MacPro when i started to have issues with the HD and so I replaced the HD and upgraded to Snowleopard.
I saved my site pages in a separate folder.
Then when I reload IWeb into the new HD... it doesnt open my site pages. Its starting from scratch with me and not loading my site.

What do I do to load my sitepages into the new HD?

I did try to drag and drop it all into my IWeb folder but that didnt work. I need help if anyone knows how to tackle this.

Thanks for your time.

wow no one can help? OK anyone know a forum that might be able to assist me?

iWeb can only open the domain file that it creates which is found in username/library/application support/iWeb. It cannot open HTML files.

If you still have your old HD or say a older time machine backup, copy that file and replace the one on your new installed HD. You can also double click the file to open iWeb and have it in a different location.

Unfortunately, this is the only way to open a iWeb site. iWeb does not import HTML files or folders. If you do not have the old domain file then you will need to recreate the site from scratch.

I'm afraid Alphakline is probably right and you must get your domain file from your old disk or a from a backup. For me with iWeb '08, the file is

Code:
iMac_Drive/Users/brian/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2

Your HD name and user name will of course be different.

At least you have the site pages so you haven't lost your creative efforts.
