iweb navigation bar help

i am using a theme in iweb that has a red navigation bar, and i want to change it to blue. as seen in the screenshot the bar above can be changed to blue which is part of the school color for the website i am making. in the help files for iweb it says the nav bar cannot be formatted but i would like ot know if there is a quick way i can change this. i would be comfortable modifying code if that is needed. thanks
