iWeb - Publishing to OWN server?

I really hate the fact that iWeb assumes you want to use a .Mac account. I have my own web space and I want to use iWeb, can I do this?

Use the "publish to folder" option and then upload said folder to your server.

Do as aricher suggested. It provides much better value than .Mac. 🙂
