Hi MacRumors,

Sorry if I placed this in the wrong forum but it seemed like the most appropriate at the time.

I have a mobile me account and post a web page for family and friends using the mobile me domain address that is given when publishing.

I teach elementary school and would like to post the weekly happenings of my class, with pictures, by making a second website. I have already made a mock website to test this out and it works great.

My question is:

Can I set up a website by using Apple that is password protected like one can do with the mobile me gallery?

Thanks,

CFS

password protected? do you mean like logging in from an account? or maybe some parts or downloadable files are password protected to keep out other people?

Yes. I mean logging in from an account like one can do with web the web gallery site.

At least I think I mean this.

To log onto the site. Sorry for the confusion.

I found the answer to my question. If anyone is out there and wants their website secure for only those you wish to view it, this can be done through opening iweb and clicking on the inspector icon on the bottom right of the screen.
