Hi there...I'm new to the forum and have a question regarding iWeb. I made my site, uploaded it and it looks beautiful...from my Mac. I looked at it in Firefox, Safari and IE on the Mac and it works perfectly.

When I had family/friends take a look from their PCs, there were problems all over the place. The design layout was all skewed and many of the hyperlinks did not work.

Any advice on creating consistency on both platforms? Thanks!:apple:

There may be ways of achieving this in iWeb through restricting the type of styles you choose, but ultimately to really achieve cross-browser compatibility you have two choices - (1) learn to program HTML, CSS and XHTML (2) buy Dreamweaver.

Consistency across platforms is a huge part of any web developer's time and if you are serious about achieving it then iWeb is probably not the program for you. However, if you are determined to use it, get VMWare Fusion or Parallels, load on a copy of Windows XP and switch between OS X and Windows to test every element adjusting where necessary.
