    Hi all.

Are rumors of iWeb being fazed out true? When I say "fazed out", I mean Apple discontinuing updating iWeb without mobile me.

So should I start geting invested in building a site through iWeb or build my site elsewhere?

Build it elsewhere. Apple doesn't include iWeb with new Macs anymore, so it is almost safe to say, that it is being phased.
Maybe have a look at RapidWeaver?

    meh

i'd suggest using a service like squarespace, cheap, hosting included and has built-in themes.

Yeah, iWeb is abandonware. Apple has stopped all development and its ability to publish to mobileme is gone as well, since apple moving people to icloud.

I use rapidweaver and so I recommend that, nearly as easy to use as iWeb but it has a ton more themes and plugins then iWeb.
