So I've finally decided to setup my own website to host my photography and paintings, and I searched for an html editor, then found iWeb. My question is, do I have to have a .mac account? I just registtered a domain name through godaddy.com,but I haven't yet set up my hosting plan. If I can't use iWeb with godaddy, which html editors or programs in generl do you reccommend for me to set up my site. Thank you in advance, -Mike

this topic has been beaten to death.

you can publish your iWeb to a folder and then upload it to whatever domain you want via FTP.

You should also try Transmit for your FTP app. to upload to Godaddy or there are other apps. out there as well that due a fine job. iWeb should be fine for your needs or you can also try RapidWeaver (limit to 3 pages for the trial ver.).
