I have the trial version of Numbers, and I have to agree -- even on Intel, it's very slow. My main problem with MS Office is that it's slow, and numbers is even slower.

The question is whether it's worth putting up with slow Numbers to get fast Pages. Pages is much faster than Word.

pages and keynote are quite good, but Numbers is extremely slow. Nothing on my system runs as slow as Numbers, as a matter of fact EVERYTHING else is super fast. Also when i paste a graph from Numbers into Keynote, it becomes too slow that its frustrating. This is iWork '09 (updated very recently). And I am talking very small data entries..graphs with 4 variables and already summed up frequencies..

If anyone knows a fix to this problem, or at least a way to increase the speed a bit it would be highly appreciated.

I don't understand how Apple can develop software that is this slow.
