Hi all,

I can't open any of the new iWork apps. They crash a few seconds after opening and displaying the welcome screens. They all have the same crash report by the looks of things.

Any suggestions or tips would be great. I'd actually love to use these new apps :)

Mac Pro 4,1 w/ 5,1 firmware.
8 core 2.93GHz,
32GB RAM
Sonnet Tempo Pro SSD w/ 2x Samsung 840 Pro SSD's in RAID 0.
GeForce 660 Ti 2GB non-EFI.
2 x 24" Cinema Displays.

You are not alone!

Few people have had success with work arounds here;

I am stuck on this too. Luckily have iWork 09 still working, but want to use the shiny new version!

Thanks Jonny, I appreciate the links. Posted my report in both. Hopefully the iWork team can patch the issue fairly quickly. For what it's worth, iWork 2013 works fine on my Macbook Air.. just not my Mac Pro.

Solution found! On another thread but I can't find it to send the link I'm afraid.

It was a Fonts' issue for me...

Stage 1 - Restore Standard Fonts

1- In Font Book, click file.
2- Click Restore Standard Fonts
3- Open iWork programs to check they are working

The above process moves your non-system fonts to a different folder (User > Library > Fonts (Removed))

Stage 2 - Restore disabled fonts

1- Re-install Removed Fonts. By dragging "Fonts (Removed)" into Font Book to install.
2- Check that Pages etc. is still working.

Hope that helps somebody at least!

Thanks a bunch! This worked :)
