I tried using Pages, and it said it isn't compatible with the new OS and to make sure I have installed all updates. The problem is it doesn't even let me get to the point to check for updates, and since I bought it one DVD many years ago (before the MAS), it doesn't pop up as needing an update or even a new download from the MAS. What do I do? Anyone else with this problem? I have the first GM and am hoping to install the second one today. Maybe that will resolve the issue?

I doubt it. I'm on the second GM and Pages '09 works just fine, but I have no reason to think that it wouldn't have worked with the first GM. Perhaps you should reinstall iWork '09.

Unfortunately, I live overseas currently and don't have my discs. They are packed away at my parents' house currently. I tried downloading one and reinstalled, but it didn't work. Maybe I should uninstall and reinstall. I just really don't want to pay for it again, unless they have a huge update to it and come out with iWork '14. That would be nice. :) Anyway, I'll try to uninstall and reinstall. And just so you know, I'll attach the message I get. I get it with Numbers and Keynote too,

Fixed it. Last time I just did a install over the previous. This time I removed everything and reinstalled from scratch. Weird that the GM would mess it up. It worked before I installed the GM. Thanks for the help!

[Edit] It opens, but it still says I need to update, then opens MAS, but there is no update. Any idea about that? At least I can use it! Updating it would be nice though.

Download the update by searching in google for iWork update 9.3 I think. You can download it without App Store.

iWork update 9.3? I have Pages '09 version 4.3. Is that what you mean?

EDIT: Never mind. Found it. Probably what I already have.
