If you save a Pages file, will the iPad allow me to send it through email? What are the options for getting iWork files out of the iPad?

1. iDisk (if you have MobileMe)?
2. Email?
3. iTunes sync?

*Also, can you set to save as a Microsoft Word document AS DEFAULT?

Thanks

The options are:

Email
Sync to iWork.com
Export to Mac / PC

I hope that computer exporting is wireless! There is a toggle for file sharing in the iPad settings on the simulator from the SDK.

What we don't yet know is what happens when you choose 'Export.' Presumably you get to select the file type first, e.g. Pages, Word, PDF. But after that....? Does it sit in a sandbox? Can it be re-accessed by Pages? Or does it sit in the sandbox, waiting to be found when you connect an iPad to a computer? (We know the drive can be mounted...)

You could try an app called DocSync. I am not sure if it works with iWorks, but it definitely works well with all of Microsoft Office, PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs, Google Docs, and Dropbox files. Basically, it allows you to remotely access the files you have on your PC or Mac from your iPad and edit them. Conceptually, it should work with iWorks as well.
