Sorry, I think my question was unclear- I'm going to get the free iWork apps from my new iPad 5 when I purchase it, will I then be able to put those apps on my iPhone & my wife's iPad?

iWork for iPod (5th gen)
Seems kinda chintzy that I have an ipod touch (5th gen) bought three months ago and I can't get iWork on it for free.
I'm assuming this is correct because it talks about any "new" iOS devices.

It's any device activated after sept 1. Yes, it's slightly disappointing but not too surprising--iLife on OS X works the same way.
That part wasnt very clear. I thought he said new ios device. Ether way, just sit back and wait.
