so does the single pack block you from installing it on more then one comp. and if so does the family pack matter if u go in on it with friends? at different households, or are all these just guidelines and i can just get the single and let my friends borrow?
 
Doesn't block you from installing on more than one computer, just don't register if you do that. Not that I'm promoting it - if you love Apple, then support them and buy the right amount.

Family pack is only for one household.
 
so wait if me and my sister ( who lives 3 states away) wants it and i buy the family pack, would that still not be allowed, cause i mean i do love apple

You should go to the website and look but, while that would be better, I'm certain from the original family packs that the answer would be no. They used to require that the machines all be physically in the same house.
