Given that the new iMacs were released just six days earlier on Sep 24, I do find it a bit odd that they chose the Oct 1 cutoff. My invoice is dated Sep 30 and it was delivered Oct 1. Ah well, but its nice that Mavericks is a free upgrade.
Interesting. My Order Date is September 26th, but my Invoice Date is October 1. Nothing yet in my purchases re: iWork.
I'm still hopeful things will work themselves out shortly.
Are you signed in to the App Store with the iCloud account you used to register the machine?
I am. I've only ever had the one Apple ID, so hopefully there shouldn't be an issue there. 10.9, GarageBand, iPhoto and so on all show up there (I didn't have to pay for any of those).
Seems as though it's really just the iWork stuff that's not populating.
There! I received an email from the Up-to-Date support team, which linked me back to a coupon redeeming screen. Couple of clicks and Pages, Numbers and Keynote are downloading.
Nice work, Apple!
I've ordered my iMac on September 25th, received my invoice on October 1st.
iWorks is not showing up as free in the app store.
I've tried the Up-to-Date program and got a response a few minutes ago.
We are unable to process your request for UTD for iMac because the product was not purchased within the qualifying time frame.
.
Not happy about this at all...
I ordered my late-2013 iMac on September 24. It shipped on September 30. While iWork did not show up as a free download initially, it does as of tonight.

They left me no choice. Others who purchased their iMac a few days later are getting it for free...
They left you no choice other than to steal their software, because you weren't eligible for a promotion / upgrade?
I'm not saying many wouldn't consider doing the same, but I imagine I'd not have quite the same sense of entitlement...![]()
I normally don't download software illegally. But this is crazy. A lot of people are getting this for free, even with the same order and invoice dates or they receive a $60 coupon to use in the app store...
Early adopters are being punished. That's what I'm saying.
Everybody with a Late 2013 iMac should be getting this for free... ;-)
