We know that iWork and Office support will be part of 2.0.
    Question is how.
Will it only be thru files sent by email, or can we import files separately from a computer and store them on a Touch?

Since he didn't show or talk about anything else, I'd assume that it's still through the Mail app as attachments.

I'd predict that they will probably make it work through a MobileMe iDisk as well.

when they say full support, do they mean that we will be able to edit the documents as well?

I think full support means they now have powerpoint as well as exel and word, and of course iwork.

This seems doubtful. Read-only I suspect. The ability to run Keynote presentations off an iPhone or touch would be a great addition.

Ok. just watched the WWDC Keynote again.
Steve J. talked about importing iWork and Office documents as attachments. Sounds to me he was talking about email?
I am really hoping we can import files from our computer.

On the App Store web page it lists categories for new aplications. One of which is productivity. I hope they mean it.
It also says "Shop for applications from the new App Store and make your iPhone or iPod touch whatever you want it to be."
Well, I know what I want my Touch to be. The question is will Apple make it possible.
