iWork Pages has a significant lag in accepting key input to a point that it is a few letters behind. It is proving unusable in taking notes during a discussion with other(s).

Has anyone experienced the something? Is there any fix to this input delay?

I just tested my Pages and I do not experience the delay you describe.

    Problem is intermittent

Thanks for testing iWork Pages to see whether you experience the same problem.

The lag is intermittent. It works fine most of the time, but some times it just lags and frustratingly it happens when I'm taking notes.

If the problem is intermittent then you might want to look at what other apps are in the background when it occurs, if you haven't done that already.

I use Pages on my iPad and haven't had any problems.

Maybe try a cold restart? (power down by holding Menu + Power buttons...)

Just a thought, but it's possible that the OP types faster than the average user, which could also explain why he's seeing lag that the rest of us don't.

I have experienced this, and it's usually when I'm working on a doc that I imported from .doc or .docx - I don't seem to get it when I start a new document actually in Pages. Is this the same for you?

    Insightful Observation

I use MS Word at work and Pages at home and often times I switch documents between the two app's. So, I will try to just use Pages and see whether the lag problem goes away.

    Thanks for your keen observation.
