iWork09 & Microsoft Office 2011 Problems

    Hi all,

    I had on my mac iWork 09 which worked great until I had to format and reinstall everything on my mac because of HDD crash.
    Now that I reinstalled iWork09 every time I try to open a .doc file or an .xls or .xlsx file it crashes. Those files are mainly created on a PC but I could open them without problems.

    I then tried to work with Microsoft Office but the problem is the same.
    It opens the file for maybe 5 seconds and then it crashes.

    That happens with MANY files not only 1.

    Any ideas???

    Sounds like the files may be corrupted. If you have access to a PC try opening them on that and if so save them again using a different name and see if that works.

    Thanks for your reply, unfortunately it does not work. I tried what you said but nothing. I am out of ideas...
