For the most part, I love iXpenseit. It's one of the apps I use most. But IMO it has one really big flaw, and although the developer told me it would be dealt with in this current version, it hasn't been.

I want to have a budget that varies from month to month ANd rolls over. As of now, you must choose between these two options. Having both seems incredibly basic, but it's not possible with iXpenseit, which is otherwise a brilliant app. So my question is two-fold:

    1) Am I right in saying what I want to do is not possible with iXpenseit?

    2) Is there any comparable app that includes this functionality?

iXpenseit really seems easy and seems to have it all, but I really dislike the interface, when compared to Cha-Ching or iBank it looks awful to say the least
    and it lacks some features
I for one have I think tried every app available, iBank, Cha-Ching, Money, Checkbook,Splash Money etc and none of them are to say : wow, thats it
either they have interfaces that are not transparent, so everything is easy and viewable, either they miss the recurrent feature etc.
or no sync with anything and bla bla
    hope something comes out finally

yeah, I know, I haven't found anything perfect either. I don't mine the iXpenseit interface - it's basic but very functional. This is really my only gripe, but it is a big one. Why would you assume that budgets are constant month to month? For some people I'm sure that's true, but don't a lot of people have variable income?

i guess u kinda get use to the sleek apple design, and neat minimalistic looking apps, but if it suits people with its functionality then that should do it, .. should :D
so the perfect app would be :
    1.the looks - Cha-Ching
    2.syncing possibility - iBank (MobileMe,WebDAV & the desktop app)
3.quick graphic preview of spending by week, month & year - Spend
4.instant view of the income and spending - iXpenseit
5.dividing expenses by month ; bills and expenses made in september etc.
    6.adding of payees & favorites - Cha-Ching
7.the ability to split lets say my AMEX bill which is 1000$ for that month to few payments, and for those payment to recur for the amount of months or days that I want
iBank has something like that, but not as quite as polished
I think a lot of people buy things on their credit card and are paying for certain things monthly
what a long post, sorry guys but I had to :D
