well the technology exists for radar-pickup for vinyl records, not sure about lasers though. I'd love a radar record player, but the prices are insane, like 20 grand or more

I know I don't, tray loading turntables tend to break on me all the time and at least twice I have closed the tray without making sure the needle arm is in the locked position and I almost snapped it off
