Izymail offline problem

    i have a trial izymail and i am using it with mac osx mail app as a pop
    service supporter. i can send mail, but cannot receive, because it says
    i am offline. how can i change this (clicking on "go online" don't help, it
    stays still offline)?

    Izymail support response [didn't help me]:
    The issue is unlikely to be related to IzyMail.
    Try to exit / restart the application or restart the computer altogether.

    No experience with that particular provider, but I do see a similar (same?) error pop up with some of the email accounts I retrieve through pop when there's some sort of communication problem with the server.

    In my case, it's usually either that my wireless network has dropped out, or that I've tried to check mail too rapidly or as another computer is checking the same account at the same time.

    I assume this is the only computer you're pop-ing with, and that your network is ok, though you might try turning off your firewall or bypassing your router temporarily to make sure it's not a port blocking issue of some sort.
