JC Penny's business model isn't "sue every other department store". And you wonder why execs would leave?

It's not that bad considering just how many different items they carried. It's easy to keep a clean looking store when you're only selling 50 different items plus cases. by no means pretty, but understandable.
Don't they just use child labour and sweat shops instead?
Or you can just use a straight one but move in horizontal strokes, you know... clean different.
DSG has redesigned its stores to look more like Apple stores. They are never going to look identical given the much larger range of products that Dixons/Currys carry, but they look a lot less cluttered and cheap now.
All I can think about is how hard the cleaners have to work to keep an all white store that clean. Amazing looking place.

JC Penney can remodel all their stores and they will still stink. Their merchandise is the problem, not necessarily their stores.
Why do they think people flock to apple stores - its not for the pretty stairways, its the merchandise
Really? Even though many resellers sell the exact same products? It's more to do with the experience.
