Didn't know they had open-air urinals at Dixons

Lol, the guy on that left pic btw looks like he's taking a sneaky piss, I wouldn't blame seeing as the store looks like a wc.:D

Lol, didn't read your post, but came to the same conclusion.

So back in the day, Steve Jobs famously wooed John Scully with notions of changing the world instead of selling sugar water, and now we have Apple execs leaving for...JC Penny? Something seems very wrong here.

JC Penny's business model isn't "sue every other department store". And you wonder why execs would leave?

My Eyes! The goggles do nothing!

Seriously, last time I was in an Apple store with the glowing white signs on the walls I had to leave after about 5 minutes because the glare was giving me a headache.

It's not that bad considering just how many different items they carried. It's easy to keep a clean looking store when you're only selling 50 different items plus cases. by no means pretty, but understandable.

Don't they just use child labour and sweat shops instead?

DSG has redesigned its stores to look more like Apple stores. They are never going to look identical given the much larger range of products that Dixons/Currys carry, but they look a lot less cluttered and cheap now.

Point taken.:)

like thats going to change anything or the whole retail industry,

the retail industry is going down the drain, at least for stores, the internet is taking over the game, hard.

malls and stores are going to be the thing of the past, i mean theres going to some around 30 years from now, but hardly many.

lol best buys is going out of business now? lmfao, just wow.

they give forever 21 and apple stores free rent so that people would just come visit the malls to help other businesses (food court, kiosks, etc etc)

JC Penney can remodel all their stores and they will still stink. Their merchandise is the problem, not necessarily their stores.

Why do they think people flock to apple stores - its not for the pretty stairways, its the merchandise :D

Really? Even though many resellers sell the exact same products? It's more to do with the experience.
