Sad day, I always liked him.
RIP indeed - IMO a likeable politician. As those types go anyways
Kemp had the ability to be conservative but not polemic like the current group. I think he was completely wrong on taxes and that has contributed to the mess we are in today but I still fell he was a good guy.
Outside of the political crap, I still remember him playing for Buffalo.
Bills, meh. This is how I remember him
My dad took my brother and I to see him play back in the 60's when we lived in Buffalo. I still remember that crewcut, which we all had.
This is how I remember him. I had his card at one time.
Now he is with my dad.
Aww! I really liked him too. That's really sad.
He was a class act. Sad that he is gone ...
Condolence for him.......he's a good person. May he rest in peace and God will welcome him into his kingdom.
God bless him.
He really did represent everything that was good about the United States. I always thought he'd make a great President. It's a shame we never got the chance to find out.
While I'm certainly glad he didn't get a chance to put his fiscal policies into action as VPOTUS or POTUS, he was certainly the kind of politician who could disagree without being disagreeable, a trait that is sorely lacking today.
My dad said he was one of hell of a good quarterback.
RIP Congressman Kemp.
Thank you for your service to our great country!
