yeah i had to erase my hd to do a clean install with Jaquar.

okay i put the dashes in and it work! thanks jermsmingy. sorry for the trouble man.

i cant believe this. i dont understand how putting the serial number to another cd will work with a different cd when i dont have either versions (apps) or any info of the seriels numbers on my hd. magic i guess. i dont know. but im set now. thanks againjermsmingy.

They do that to verify that you own a copy of a previous version. I've had this same problem when installing XP.
