I currently have a first Gen iPhone running 2.0,

I will be upgrading to 3G as soon as stock is readily available, so thought i'd give this Jailbreaking lark a bash (mainly to see if i want to for the new one)

I have been searching online for various guides and FAQs about it but have been bombarded with info,

What Im asking is are there any simple step by step guides on how to do this??

I am on Windows

any advice will be helpful.
