Jailbreak 2.2.1 and keep 2.28.00 baseband

Can someone please post a step by step direction of how to jailbreak an Iphone 3g firmware 2.2 baseband 2.28.00 to the new firmware 2.2.1 baseband 2.28.00, using pwnage tool 2.2.5? I want to keep the ability to unlock my Iphone so I want to keep the baseband as 2.28.00. I know there are ways on the net when you search google, but they differ between the 2 directions. I want to know if I can do it in simple mode or expert mode, and what the settings are supposed to be.
