Hey everyone, my friend just bought a brand new iPhone 4 that's already activated off eBay. It's not jailbroken or unlocked, but it's still on iOS 4.1 (8B117). I tried to jailbreak it with PwnageTool and using a custom ispw file, but then iTunes won't restore it, saying it can't be restored to that version. After using TinyUmbrella, it only has SHSH bobs for 4.2.1. Is there any other way for us to jailbreak it?
We are not able to use it as a phone unless it's unlocked, since we're not living in America as you guys know. Any ideas? Any help greatly appreciated.
