I've edited files, viewed images and listened to audio. Seems stable to me...

Odd, I haven't had one crash in iFile.
I've edited files, viewed images and listened to audio. Seems stable to me...
We're not speaking about cracked Apps. We're speaking about Apps from the Cydia Store. Two different things.
This is allowed. But not aloud.

Folks watch out for that modmyi step by step guide to having programs open in full screen. I tried this a few apps and when I reopened not only did it not open in full screen but it froze the ipad up and I had to force a shutdown. When restarted all I got was the apple log which was the kiss of death and on to a full restore!
For some reason when I install Five Dock Icons it puts my Ipad in continual "Exit Safe Mode".
I can't remove it either from Cydia. Just keeps giving me errors.
I've restored twice now to see which program it could have been and I determined it's this one.
So I'm restoring again and won't be adding this but wish i could!

Sorry, but what's the logic of installing Five Icon Dock on an iPad that can already hold six?
No you're not. They have a post on the Cydia homepage saying they're working on it.
iFile is working.

Yeah I got it to work with a reinstall. First one did not work for some reason.
Found an interesting link, this is a google document that is being 'crowd sourced'/updated with a list of apps and their iPad compatibility.

is backgrounder and ifile supposed to look like iphone apps that need to be double sized? or did i do it wrong?
As of now, there has not been any updates to either one of them that are iPad specific. I expect in the near future to get iPad only versions of these as there are some differences between iTouch/iPhone and iPad's filesystem.
And on topic, I have found that these apps work:

Torrentula (partially)

Safari Download Plugin (To an extent. Had to rename all the files I downloaded in iFile to put the type back on it; like .exe, .zip, etc)

sorry. just a quick question for iFiles. does it allow you to encrypt or zip up a file with encryption (think winzip)? thanks for your time buddy!
how do u update it? I tried reinstalling it, still crashes, and there is no update on cydia under changes.
