Ok so I jailbroke my phone and its version 4.01. I went to that site and it jailbroke it all by itself. Very handy considering I was very scared to even do it. I'm wondering if there is a tutorial to upgrade to 4.3.2. I don't want to lose anything because i have a couple of apps , themes , icons all nicely made and I want to lose NOTHING. Anyone think they can pull me in the right direction?

You need to make a backup in iTunes and then also get Package backup or XBackup from cydia.

Get Tiny Umbrella and save your SHSH.

If you are concerned with saving your baseband then the process will be slightly different, but if not, just upgrade to 4.3x in iTunes.

After that just jailbreak using redsn0w and you can install cydia, get packg backup or x backup again and restore your stuff. Everything that is yours that is not jailbroken, eg photos, sms, contacts, whatever, will remain on the phone unharmed unless you set up your device as a new phone.
